LCDBM Marketplace, July 2012 Information Request # 213 Information Request # 127 Information Request # 216 IrrigationTips Make sure your clients have an irrigation clock with multiple program functions. Program A: Sprinklers Set the "watering days" function so it only waters on the assigned days. Set the start times function to run three sprinkler watering cycles, each about an hour apart. (In warm weather, run cycles before sunrise.) Set the run time function to four minutes per cycle. Program B: Drip Irrigation Set the "watering days" function so it only waters on the assigned days. Set the "start times" function to run just one cycle in the early morning for a single runtime of 30 to 90 minutes. Trade in the Old Clock Replace your old irrigation clock with a smart controller or add a rain sensor. Check your local municipality, as many offer rebate coupons for these water-saving devices.
