The buyer already services Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and adjacent counties, and now has locations in Traverse City, and Grand Ledge, Mich - igan, where all their core product lines and brands will be available. The seller's president, Tom Reed, Sr., will retire but their vice president, Robert Reed, and his existing team of support and sales staff will remain. John Deere announced they are in the works to acquire the Wirtgen Group, a global supplier of construction equipment. The plans are to main - tain the new division's existing brands, manage- ment, manufacturing footprint, employees and distribution network. The combined business is expected to benefit from sharing best practices in manufacturing and technology and make the equip - ment available to more markets and geographies. Ground Gains Mergers, Acquisitions, Expansions Construction equipment rental and re- pair company H&E Equipment Servic- es has opened its 79th branch in Love- land, Colo., which is near Fort Collins. The 15,295-square-foot facility plans to provide service not only to customers in northern Colorado, but also southeastern Wyoming and western Nebraska with an eight-bay repair area and a parts ware - house. New and used equipment sales and mobile repair ser - vices will also be offered.
