HRI funded some of the research on honeybee exposure to pesticides and honeybee nutrition through the Grow Wise, Bee Smart initiative. Research in progress is studying the nutritional value of plants most attractive to bees. Another newly released research report cites poor nutrition, varroa mites and pesticides as contributing factors to honeybee colony loss. www.hriresearch.org Pollinator Research
