The Concrete Polishing Council (CPC), an affiliate of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, has developed a jobsite sign called "Concrete Floor Protection Plan." The sign is designed to alert other contractors that the polished slab on the project is the finished floor and needs to be kept clean. "Without notification, other contractors often don't realize that the floor they're using for staging, parking and construction activities is the slab that will be turned over to the owner," said Chad Gill, CPC council director. "Once the polishing contractor completes their portion of the job, we're not onsite to remind those still working. The banner was developed for that purpose." The sign is free and downloadable for ASCC members. 50 LC DBM Marketplace Pavers, Masonry, Blocks & Rocks I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 1 8 2 I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 1 4 1 I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 1 8 1 I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 1 5 2 Hardscapes Competition Now Open The 2018 Hardscape North America (HNA) Installer Championships com- petition is now accepting team registrations for their 6th annual event happen- ing at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ken. on October 17-19.
