The team hopes that this new technology will be implement - ed as an alternative to steel in construction because it is environmentally friendli - er and cheaper to produce. They are currently look - ing into mass production. https://tinyurl.com/yd4v5zyb Scientists at the Univer- sity of California Berkeley have released their results of a new study that exam - ined the effects of fertilizing plants in correlation to their ability to fend off diseases. In a news article posted on the UC Berkeley web - site, the results were called "nonintuitive," as the research team found that spraying tomatoes plants with fertilizer lead to "an increase in the population of pathogenic microbes on the plants' leaves." https://tinyurl.com/y7fmcl33 Ohio State University is now offering a completely online course titled, "Latinos in the Workforce – Communication and Culture," that is de - signed to introduce American students, workers, supervisors and business owners to cur - rent issues in the workplace where Latinos and Americans interact. Legal issues, historical data, culture and much more will be covered. The course is entirely in English, and no Spanish will be taught. It is open to enrollment by anyone and registration costs $600. https://tinyurl.com/y7sezh7o The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reached a cumu- lative total of over 100,000 Remote Pilot Certifications issued for commercial and recreational use since the small drone rule (Part 107) went into effect on August 29, 2016.
