The voluntary event is to remind employers about discussing the importance of "Fall Prevention." Companies can partici - pate by taking a break to have a toolbox talk or hold other safety activities. Employers can receive a certification for their participation. The National Association of Home Builders asked OSHA to expand its small business compliance assistance to help construction companies improve the safety of their operations. This included compliance training for existing regula - tions and standards, assistance with understanding how to improve identifi - cation of hazards in the workplace, and more modern methods of communicat - ing compliance such as videos and online tools.
