September 2017 47 I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 4 4 4 Looking to increase its offering of solutions designed to stabilize trenches for safer work environments, Trinity Shoring Products Inc. acquired all substantial assets of Efficiency Produc - tion Inc., which will continue to be operated separately under that name with no changes in personnel or point of contact for customers. The buyer's other brands, Pro-Tec Equipment and GME, both of which were acquired in a previous merger, will also continue as is with no effect to their operations. Rental company H&E Equipment Services has added its 79th branch with the opening of a facility in Durham, North Carolina. In addition to equipment rentals, the 16,000-square-foot facility will provide new and used equipment sales, in-shop and mobile repair service for a variety of general industrial and construction equipment, as well as parts, training, and other value-added services to customers in northeastern North Carolina. Following the commencement of a new parts facility in the western part of the U.S. (Las Vegas) earlier this year, JLG Industries Inc. recently opened an East Coast parts distribution center in Atlanta. Customers will be assigned a primary warehouse based on their zip code and its proximity to a distribution center, and maximum uptime. Ship - ments from the new 316,000-square- foot facility will initially experience a ramp-up phase that is expected to last until mid-September. Ground Gains Mergers, Expansions, Acquistions
