This includes - during the grow- ing season - weekly mow- ing, pruning a minimum of three times, annual flower plantings twice and mulching once. During the winter they remove the snow and ice. Michael Currin founded the company as a spin off of a garden store in Fayetteville. Three years later it became a separate company and full service landscape firm. Today it is headquartered in Holly Springs, N.C., and has over 100 employees. The firm employs a wide range of green in- dustry professionals including landscape archi- tects, designers and horticulturists. With over 35 years in the business, the company's Green Team specializes in commercial and residential landscape design/build, commercial landscape management, and landscape specialty services including irrigation and landscape lighting. The company owns Weed Man franchises in the Triangle area and in Wilmington, N.C. Un- der that brand, Greenscape provides a full range of lawn care services customized for each prop- erty including weed, insect and disease man- agement, as well as aeration and seeding. With this they are well equipped to maintain a broad range of landscapes at a variety of facilities. One such system client is WakeMed Health & Hos- pitals. The 919-bed health system comprises a network of facilities, including three full-service hospitals, seven emergency departments and more than 50 physician practice locations.
