10 LC DBM Near the end of last year, Kubota Trac- tor started build- ing its new U.S. headquarters in Grapevine, Texas. The 125,000-square- foot administration building and the 68,000-square-foot research and development facility will be more strategically located to the company's manu- facturing, assembly and distribution facilities in Georgia and Kansas than their present site in Torrance, California. In a recently announced deal, Hydro-Scape Products' 17 locations in Southern California that provide irrigation and landscape products to its customers have been acquired by SiteOne Landscape Supply, bringing that company's total store count to over 460 locations across North America. Invisible Structures' long-time Kansas resell- ing partner, Carter-Waters, will now be carry- ing the product line in Missouri. Carter-Waters has been a construction industry specialist since 1922. SCG Partners has acquired the as- sets of three land- scape mainte- nance companies in Melbourne, Florida. The com- bined companies are Green Leaf Landscaping & Irrigation, M&M; Professional Grounds Maintenance and A New Look Lawn Care. The combined businesses will operate under the name Green Leaf Landscaping & Irrigation.
