Armstrong Growers acquired the business assets of Do Right's Plant Growers in Santa Paula, Calif. Do Right's staff will now become part of the employee- owned, Armstrong Garden Centers brand. Armstrong Growers, with 32 store locations, had outgrown its site in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and looked for a way to continue its growth and allow room for future expansion. 22 LC DBM I n f o r m a t i o n R e q u e s t # 4 0 4 Allen Engineering Corp. welcomed Darragh Company as its new dealer in the state of Arkansas. The company offers a wide selec- tion of construction materials, tools and equipment – from drills and ratchets to concrete fnishing equipment – in partnership with its sister company, Tool Central. Great Northern Equipment Distribut - ing completed its asset purchase of JRCO, Inc. Since 1975, JRCO has been a respected name in the commercial mower attach- ment industry. Their aerators, dethatchers, leaf clean-up, spreaders and sprayer attachments have served commercial customers for over 30 years. Southeastern Equipment Company opened its new Southeastern RENTS location in Cambridge, Ohio. The new store specializes in rental equipment for landscape contractors. The 10,000-square foot facility is located next to the existing corporate offce. The company has 18 store locations in Ohio and neighbor- ing states and an Environmental Division. Greenscape Inc., owner of the Raleigh, Cary and Wilmington, N.C., franchises, announced that Weed Man® has been named the Offcial Lawn Care Provider of the Durham Bulls. The agreement runs from 2015 through 2020. Under the Weed Man brand, Greenscape provides a full range of lawn care services customized for each property, including weed, insect and disease management, as well as aeration and seeding.
